England Boxing is encouraging all clubs to complete an inclusion survey which will paint a clearer picture of what is currently on offer within the sport to people with long-term physical and mental health problems, impairments and illnesses.

Statistics from the Activity Alliance show that 72% of disabled people agree that the Coronavirus Pandemic has made physical activity less accessible.

One in five of us are classed as disabled, a significant number of people from the communities in which amateur boxing operates.

As a result, it is England Boxing’s believe that it is now more important than ever to ensure that affiliated clubs are as inclusive as possible.

To better understand the current landscape in boxing, so there can be an improvement in inclusivity for all, clubs are urged to fill in the survey by clicking here.

The survey will take no more than five minutes to complete and is open until Sunday 20th June.
