England Boxing’s Time to Listen Courses provide safeguarding training that is specifically geared towards Club Welfare Officers at boxing clubs.

It promotes the importance of a child-focused approach, confidentiality, personal wellbeing and non-oppressive practice.

Coronavirus postponements

Please note: due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all England Boxing Time To Listen courses have been postponed for the remainder of March and April with immediate effect.

We will reschedule these courses for later in the summer and early Autumn. Where someone can’t make a rearranged course, then we will do our best to accommodate them or offer them a refund.

Any queries should be directed to enquiries@englandboxing.org

Course outcomes

At the end of the course, participants will be able identify and explain what a Club Welfare Officer should be doing, describe how a Club Welfare Officer works with others to create a child-centred environment, understand how the role of a Club Welfare Officer fits into the wider safeguarding environment and apply learning to case studies, including sharing good safeguarding practice.
