England Boxing’s Time to Listen Courses provide safeguarding training that is specifically geared towards Club Welfare Officers at boxing clubs.

It promotes the importance of a child-focused approach, confidentiality, personal wellbeing and non-oppressive practice.

Course outcomes

At the end of the course, participants will be able identify and explain what a Club Welfare Officer should be doing, describe how a Club Welfare Officer works with others to create a child-centred environment, understand how the role of a Club Welfare Officer fits into the wider safeguarding environment and apply learning to case studies, including sharing good safeguarding practice.
