Club and Community Manager

England Boxing is seeking to appoint a Club and Community Manager to help increase the organisation’s community impact and oversee a team of Club Support Officers who interact and liaise with clubs at a regional level.

The role will also look to expand upon numerous national partnerships that exist to help club development. This specifically includes linking in with Sport England and their strategies and in doing so ensuring boxing complements national programmes and policies.

Events and Competition Manager

England Boxing is seeking to appoint a Competitions and Events Manager to ensure the successful delivery of all competitions and events, including National Championships, GB Three Nations and Women’s Winter Box Cup.

The successful candidate will play an advisory role in supporting other competitions, such as the NABGC Championships and the BUCS (Universities) championships and will be responsible for effectively managing the budgets connected to the above competitions, ensuring parameters of England Boxing’s financial policies and guidelines are followed at all times.

Workforce Development Manager

England Boxing is seeking to appoint a Workforce Development Manager to ensure the successful delivery of all training and learning opportunities for coaches, officials, boxers and other volunteers, from entry-level exercise programmes through to those working at the elite end of the pathway.

As well as coaching course development and growth, a significant area of focus will be officiating; including recruitment, the delivery of nationally consistent training and ensuring there is a clear progression pathway from grassroots through to international level, which is accessible to all.

Community Boxing Apprentices (10 roles, regionally based)

England Boxing is seeking young people with a knowledge and understanding of amateur boxing who are passionate about community development and participation to form a dynamic team of Community Boxing Apprentices who will be based across the country.

Candidates (typically aged between 16-25) will harness the excitement and interest in the sport generated by the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games to deliver a meaningful post-Games legacy within boxing.

This will be achieved by delivering community-based engagement events in partnership with England Boxing-affiliated clubs and opening up pathways for sustained participation in the sport.
