Non-Executive Independent Director – Member of the Board
& Chair Commercial Advisory Group

With the retirement of one of the current Board members, an opportunity has arisen
for a suitably qualified individual to join the Board of England Boxing as Independent Non-Executive Director. The term of appointment is for four years initially with potential for one
further four-year term.

Independent Non-Executive Directors shall be individuals who are independent of the Company’s Members and have been appointed in accordance with the procedure set out in Articles 53 and 54 of the England Boxing Articles of Association.

Salary: Voluntary – expenses
Contract type: Volunteer
Location: Flexible (usually London for meetings). Headquarters in Sheffield.

Workforce Administration Assistant (Maternity Cover)

As part of the Operations team, the successful candidate will contribute towards the management, delivery and facilitation of training and learning opportunities for coaches, officials, and other volunteers.

This role has a significant area of focus on the organisation and monitoring of England Boxing courses. It is envisaged the remit will eventually evolve to cover other aspects of the workforce function, including the instigation and organisation of programmes to increase recruitment and retention into the sport, financial viability, sustainability and growth of the organisation.

England Boxing Community Apprentice

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Community Apprentice in Liverpool.

In this position, you’ll be at the heart of grassroots sport – working closely with England Boxing-affiliated clubs to bring vibrant, inclusive boxing events to local communities. You’ll help create clear pathways for people to get involved and stay involved in boxing, especially in areas where opportunities have traditionally been limited.

The apprenticeship also includes the completion of a Community Sport and Health Officer (Level 3) qualification, provided through our partnership with Lifetime Training and Coach Core.

This role is part of a wider legacy programme linked to the World Boxing Championships, which will be hosted at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena from 4–14 September 2025. The event is being delivered thanks to a successful partnership bid involving England Boxing, GB Boxing, Liverpool City Council, the National Lottery, and UK Sport.
