Clubs wishing to apply to take part in the Monkstown International Box Cup 2019 in Ireland are reminded that they need to fill out and England Boxing Box Abroad application form as soon as possible.

The event takes place from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th June and with a large amount of applications expected from English clubs, it is advisable to complete the necessary paperwork as soon as possible.

Applications – along with the necessary travel insurance – must be emailed to the relevant Regional Secretary no later than 14 days prior to travel.

You can apply here.

Relevant Regional secretaries can be found here.

Insurance must cover Medical Expenses, Personal Accident and Personal Liability. Please note that we do not accept Ryanair travel insurance as it does not offer Personal Accident cover.

It is important to note that there is no dispensation for Vault registrations for members applying for permission to Box Abroad due to boxing insurance cover. All named boxers, coaches and support personnel must be registered for the 2019-2020 Season prior to travel.

Boxers must have in-date medicals that cover the duration of the trip and coaches must have in-date DBS, Safeguarding and First Aid certificates. If you are unsure of when your certificates run out, please contact vault.support@www.englandboxing.org.

To comply with our safeguarding policies, if female boxers under the age of 18 are travelling, they must be accompanied by a named and registered female coach or a female volunteer with an in-date DBS. Alternatively, you can provide proof that a parent is travelling, such as an airline ticket, with your applicatiion form.

The England Boxing Deadline for Boxing Abroad Applications is 5pm, Thursday 20th June. Any applications submitted after this date may not be processed and should you travel without permission, this will be escalated to our National Compliance Manager.
