Tyne, Tees and Wear’s West Auckland Boxing Club hopes to make a difference to the lives of young people in the local village where it is based after firmly establishing itself since opening three years ago.

An affiliated East Midlands club has moved to a new, bigger gym – shortly after changing its name to better reflect the community in which it operates.

England Boxing, working with Activity Alliance and UK Coaching, is delivering 10 Inclusive Activity Programme Workshops across the country with the aim of equipping boxing coaches with the ability to effectively engage disabled people and people with long-term health conditions.
