Tribute to Tommy Bickle

We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of Coach and Official, Tommy Bickle, who dedicated many years of his life to amateur boxing.

Tommy will be fondly remembered for his unwavering commitment to the members of Burton Amateur Boxing Club. 

Over the years, he served the club and the wider boxing community in many roles, including Club Secretary, Club President, Staffordshire Secretary and not forgetting his time as a Judge. Tommy’s dedication, leadership, and passion for the sport left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.

Tommy’s funeral will take place on Thursday 12th March at 12:00 noon at Bretby Crematorium, Geary Lane, Burton upon Trent, DE15 0QE.

All are warmly welcome to attend and pay their respects.
