England Boxing is committed to inspiring and transforming lives through the sport by removing barriers to participation. Their mission is to make boxing inclusive, diverse, and accessible to all.

In line with this goal, the England Boxing invites amateur boxing clubs to apply for its Community Inclusion Club Programme.

The Programme itself supports clubs in opening their doors to people of all ages and abilities, with varying disabilities and health conditions. Examples of these are:

  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Wheelchair Users
  • Learning Difficulties/ Disabilities
  • Visual Impairment
  • Hearing Impairment
  • Any other disability or long-term health condition.

Each Inclusion Club will receive support from England Boxing, as well as funding (up to £2000) to start up or develop inclusive boxing sessions within their club, with the aim of the sessions becoming sustainable.

As part of the programme, you will receive regular support, including invitations to inclusion and disability workshops and information regarding alternative funding pots. Your club will be promoted on England Boxing’s Inclusive Boxing webpage, and we will share case studies and news articles on the England Boxing and partner websites and social media.

You will need to provide regular monitoring and evaluation to England Boxing.
