England Boxing is expanding its Community Inclusion Club programme and is looking for new clubs to take part.

With the aim to inspire and transform lives through boxing with no barriers to participation, it remains an ambition to make the sport inclusive, diverse, and accessible to all.

The Community Inclusion Club Programme supports clubs in opening their doors to people of all ages and abilities, with varying disabilities and health conditions. Examples of these are:

  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Wheelchair Users
  • Learning Difficulties/ Disabilities
  • Visual Impairment
  • Hearing Impairment
  • Any other disability or long-term health condition.

Each Inclusion Club will receive support from England Boxing, as well as funding (up to £1000) to start up or develop inclusive boxing sessions within their club, and this will run for a minimum of a one-year period.

As part of the programme, you will receive regular support including invitations to inclusion and disability workshops and information regarding alternative funding pots. Your club will be promoted on England Boxing’s Inclusive Boxing webpage and we will share case studies and news articles on the England Boxing and partner websites and social media.

You will need to provide regular monitoring and evaluation to England Boxing.
