How did you first got involved with boxing and become an official?

I joined my cousin’s club in South Croydon called SPARK FitBox ABC, in October 2020, and soon became a Level 1 coach after that. In January 2022, I signed up for the Referee & Judges course but I had to postpone it until later on in the summer. In June 2022, I joined Hawley ABC and completed my R&J course and I’ve been out on the circuit since September 2022.

What do you hope to get out of the WODP that can improve you as an official?

I hope to get as much experience as possible in the field of play, learn from everyone else and be active on the circuit.

What do you enjoy the most in your officiating role(s)?

I really enjoy watching and judging boxing. I’d also say talking to everyone and learning from them.

Who are your biggest boxing inspiration?

Oleksander Usyk and Amanda Serrano.

What is your aspiration in boxing?

To become a top-level judge at the national championships, Olympics and in professional boxing.
