Good ring presence and efficient shot selection were the order of the day as Junaid looked impressive over the six minutes of ring action.

60kg Adam Azim v Paddy Murphy (Wales) – won RSC Rd2

Heavy handed Adam Azim produced arguably the championships performance of the day with his powerful shots.  After forcing a standing eight count in the second, Adam followed up with a thunderous right hook to fell his opponent which lead to the referee terminating the contest in the English boxers favour.

A sharp first round with neat defensive skills set George on his way to victory against a tough opponent.

48kg QF Megan Bainbridge v Iryna Vinahradava (Belarus) – won RSC Rd2

Stiff and straight shots pierced the guard of the Belarusian effectively culminating in a standing eight count in the second round and the referees stoppage in favour of Megan, who secures guaranteed bronze in the process.
