The entry forms for the England Boxing National Development Championships 2019 – both Seniors and Juniors – have now been released.

The Finals of the event will take place at the Spiceball Leisure Centre, Banbury on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October.

The Senior competition is open to boxers born in 1979 and 2000.

Class A is open to boxers who have contested two to 10 bouts (male) and two to six bouts (female), while Class B is open to boxers who have contested 11 to 20 bouts (male) and seven to 14 bouts (female).

Entry weights are from Under 49kg up to Over 91kg (male) and from Under 48kg to Over 81kg (female).

The Junior competition, meanwhile, is open to boxers born in 2004 (Class A) and 2003 (Class B).

Male boxers must have had, upon entry, two to 10 bouts, while female boxers must have had 0 to six bouts. Entry weights are from Under 36kg up to Over 80kg.

In both the senior and junior categories, a boxer’s BCR1 medical book must be produced at the initial weigh-in and at all subsequent rounds, and the boxer’s medical must be in date for the duration of the championship.

Boxers who have previously won these championships are not eligible, regardless of the number of bouts they have had.
