Applications open for TTW Five Pillars Coaching Project
January 15, 2026 | by Chris Boyd
The Five Pillars Coaching Project rolls into its fourth cohort, with applications now open to coaches in the Tyne, Tees & Wear region.
The purpose of the project is to bring club boxing and the England Performance Pathway closer together, underpinned by the BADST coaching framework at the heart of the Performance Programme and is delivered by lead National Coach Amanda Coulson alongside Carl Ellis.
BADST, which stands for Before, After, Distance, Space and Tempo, provides coaches with a consistent technical and tactical language to apply when developing athletes.
Those taking part in the programme will benefit from a series of intensive residential camps and one-to-one sessions, before showcasing their knowledge through video analysis and practical application with athletes.
