The England Boxing Cost of Living Crisis Fund – supported by Revolut, the UK’s fastest-growing fintech company – is supporting 28 clubs to the tune of £25,000. Eastern Counties’ New Saints Boxing Club is one club to have benefited.

New Saints Boxing Club is based in a small town called, Saint Neots in Cambridgeshire and is part of the England Boxing geographical Eastern Counties region.

The club prides itself on being one that is open to all and boasts a membership base of over 120 individuals – varying from fitness fanatics to recreational and carded boxers as well as referrals from the police and NHS.

Despite their swelling membership, the economic crisis forced New Saints into applying for the England Boxing Cost of Living Crisis fund, supported by Revolut, and their successful application came just in time according to club coach and founder, Kev Bullus.

“It helped at a particularly expensive time of the year, with the annual renewal due and the energy bills at a season peak.

“The fund also went towards the club’s Public Liability Insurance.

“Keeping our club open, in the most difficult period since opening, has been a constant struggle. The funding was invaluable.

“Many thanks on behalf of all those involved with New Saints ABC.”
