World Boxing Championships 2025: Volunteer Recruitment Now Open

The inaugural World Boxing Championships for Elite men and women will take place from 4th – 14th September 2025 at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

More than 500 boxers from over 60 countries are expected to take part in the competition which will be the first Elite-level global championships hosted by World Boxing, the new International Federation for Olympic-style boxing. It will be the biggest Olympic-style boxing event to take place in Great Britain since the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The action will feature competition in 10 weight classes for both men and women and be the first time ever that male and female boxers have competed in Olympic-style boxing for the title of World Boxing Champion at the same event.

Volunteer Applications

Applications for our volunteer programme are now open.

To apply to be part of the volunteer team, we first require you to complete our Volunteer Profile Creation form. This can be found here: Volunteer Profile Creation

Before starting the form, please note that it does require you to upload a profile photo which will be used for accreditation when required – so have this ready on your device before beginning the form.

The volunteer programme is being managed by Power of People. If you already have a Power of People Rosterfy account from another event, you can skip this step. Please login to your Rosterfy and complete the World Boxing Championships – Volunteer Application Form within the system.

If you do not yet have an account with Power of People and would like to volunteer, please complete Volunteer Profile Creation form in full.

The minimum age for volunteering individually is 18. 16 and 17 year olds can volunteer if they are doing so with a parent or guardian.

Volunteer applications will close on Wednesday 25th June 2025.
