Entries Open for 2025 England Boxing National Development Championships

Entries are now open for the 2025 edition of the England Boxing National Development Championships, with boxers invited to enter via their respective regions through The Locker.

The Development Championships provide an important stepping stone for male and female boxers in the Junior, Youth and Senior categories, giving those with fewer bouts valuable experience in a national competition environment.

Eligibility requirements

Male:

  • Junior: 14-16 years old, between 2 and 10 bouts
  • Youth: 16-18 years old, between 2 and 14 bouts
  • Senior: 18-40 years old, between 5 and 20 bouts.

Female:

  • Junior: 14-16 years old, between 2 and 7 bouts
  • Youth: 16-18 years old, between 2 and 10 bouts
  • Senior: 18-40 years old, between 2 and 14 bouts.

Key dates

  • Regional Entries Close: Sunday, 7th September
  • Regional Rounds Conclude: Sunday, 28th September.

England Boxing will host the semi-finals and Finals Day on Saturday, 18th and Sunday, 19th October, respectively, with the venue to be announced in due course.

England Boxing reminds all competing boxers that entries must be completed and submitted ahead of the deadline. No late entries will be accepted.
