July 21, 2023 | by Chris Boyd

England Boxing would like to invite young individuals, aged between 16 and 25, who are interested in the England Boxing Community Boxing Apprenticeship to join our Open Call meeting which will be hosted on Tuesday 25th July at 5pm via Zoom.

Those interested in the apprenticeship will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the Community Boxing Apprentice role from England Boxing.
  • Find out more about the Level 3 Community Sports and Health Officer qualification from training provider Coach Core and Lifetime Training.
  • Hear from existing Apprentices about their journey so far.
  • Ask any questions about the role, qualification, or application process.

England Boxing are seeking to recruit and appoint two England Boxing Community Apprentices (aged between 16 and 25) who will harness the excitement and interest in the sport generated by the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Successful apprentices will deliver community-based engagement events in partnership with England Boxing-affiliated clubs and open pathways for sustained participation in the sport.

The purpose of the role is to provide developmental support to England Boxing member clubs and provide transitional opportunities for participants to grow initial interest into regular involvement within the sport.
