England Performance is delighted to announce an all-female boxing, coaching and officials’ team for the upcoming Zagreb Queens 2025 tournament.

While the event itself is an all-female competition, England is proud to extend that ethos across its entire delegation, showcasing the depth of female talent within its Performance Pathway and support network.

Lead National Coach Amanda Coulson will head the coaching team, joined by Amanda Groarke, Rachel Bower, and Kerry Chalk. Natasha Barnes will travel as the team’s physiotherapist, while Abigail Lang will represent England in her role as Referee & Judge.

The tournament will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, between 21st and 23rd November, marking England’s first appearance at the event since 2023.

At that edition, England secured six medals from a squad that included both senior and youth boxers. This year’s team, however, will comprise of senior boxers only, underlining the strength and progression of women’s boxing.

Among those competing will be World Boxing Championships silver medallist Emily Asquith, who will pull on the England vest for the first time since her success earlier this year: “I’ve had a nice little bit of time out after the World Championships, but now it’s time for Croatia and it’ll be good to get back.

“The preparations for this tournament have been great. We’ve been back in camp and getting some good sparring. We also got some valuable experience training at the Army barracks, which was perfect just before we flew out.”
