Join in with Time to Talk Day 2022

England Boxing is supporting Time to Talk Day 2022 0n Thursday 3rd February, with conversations having the power to change lives.

Given that the Coronavirus Pandemic still not over and having already taken its toll on many people, mental health awareness has never been so important.

That’s why we’re encouraging our clubs to start talking about the subject and helping those members who may need a chat or asking how they are.

Run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, in partnership with Co-op, Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation, and there are lots of ways to get involved.

You could organise a mental health-themed warm up, pop some posters up in your club house or gym or simply check in with your teammates. However, you do it, talking – and listening – is key and could really make a difference.

Help to create supportive communities where we can talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when we need it.
