The Club Welfare Officer (CWO) role is one of the most important in our sport.

We have an incredible network of volunteers fulfilling this role at clubs up and down the country who work tirelessly to keep children, young people and adults at risk safe from harm.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A CWO

There are four requirements to becoming a CWO. You will need to…

  • Have a valid enhanced DBS check in place
  • Complete the England Boxing Safeguarding Children & Young People e-Learning course and renew every 3 years
  • Complete the UK Coaching Time to Listen course
  • Be an EB member and be listed on the Locker as a CWO for an affiliated club
