Medical Registrar for England Boxing’s Merseyside and Cheshire Region, Alan Lynch, is retiring from his role after more than 30 years of service.

He will, however, continue to serve his club – Liverpool’s Salibury ABC – where he has been a coach supervisor, and performed several other roles, since being a founder member in 1974.

“Alan’s contribution has been invaluable – he’s done fantastically well in his role as a medical registrar and gone that extra mile for people on so many occasions,” said England Boxing’s Merseyside and Cheshire Club Support Officer, Damian Ridpath.

“He is exactly the type of volunteer without which our sport couldn’t function, and I’d like to place on record my thanks for his years of service.”
