A duel between the England and Ireland Junior squads provided excellent preparation for both countries ahead of next month’s EUBC European Championships.

Held in Newcastle, it was the visiting Irish team who won a tight contest 9-7 after some outstanding bouts that had the sell-out crowd on their feet throughout the day.

England Boxing would like to thank the Tyne Tees and Wear Association, particularly Phil Hatton and Paul Scott, who worked tirelessly to make the show a success.
