England Boxing Awards nominations now open for 2024

Nominations for the second annual England Boxing Awards are now open, celebrating individuals and clubs across the country who have gone the extra mile in making a positive impact within the amateur boxing community in 2024.

The prestigious event will take place on Friday 12th July at the Mercure St Pauls in Sheffield.

The Awards are a chance to recognise the inspirational work of people across the sport, and celebrate and showcase their stories and achievements across ten categories:

  • Male Coach of the Year
  • Female Coach of the Year
  • Young Coach of the Year (under 30)
  • Volunteer of the Year (non-coach/non-official)
  • Male Official of the Year
  • Female Official of the Year
  • Young Official of the Year (under 30)
  • Lifetime Achievement (25+ years contribution to amateur boxing)
  • Community Club Impact
  • Individual Member Impact

The deadline for nominations is close of business on Sunday 5th May. Anything received by England Boxing after this date will not be considered.

The winners will be chosen by a panel which consists of five England Boxing sub-committee members (excluding Board members). They will shortlist no more than three nominees in each category to decide a winner from, who will then be announced on the night.
