Boxers invited to England Youth selection camp

A total of 40 boxers have been invited to an England Boxing selection camp for the EUBC European Youth Boxing Championships this Sunday (8th March).
It follows the conclusion of the England Boxing National Youth Championships 2020 at Birtley last weekend.
The camp has been split into two sessions, depending on weight categories, and will be held at O’Dells Community Pride ABC, Firs and Bromford Well Being Centre, Birmingham, B36 8UB.
Male and female boxers weighing between 48kg and 57kg are to attend from 10apm to 1pm and 60kg to 91kg+ from 1pm to 4pm, with Mick Driscoll being the lead coach.
The EUBC European Youth Boxing Championships take place in Montenegro between 22nd April and 3rd May.
Boxers must bring an up-to-date BCR1, current passport, completed and signed parental consent form if under 18, boxing boots, gum shield, head guard, wraps, sparring gloves, skipping rope, water bottle, training gear, a change of suitable footwear (trainers) and a towel.
