January 23, 2020 | by Matt Halfpenny
Tickets for the England Boxing National Junior Championships are available to buy in advance online for the first time this year – and are on sale now!
Thanks to our partnership with event venue Exhibition Centre Liverpool – which will provide a spectacular backdrop for this year’s event – spectators can secure entry in advance and avoid on the day queues for both Saturday’s semi-finals (28th March) and Sunday’s finals (29th March).
The pinnacle of the Junior amateur boxing calendar has been contested since the 1930s and seen the likes of Spencer Oliver, David Haye, Amir Khan, Danny Williams, Luke Campbell, Anthony Ogogo, Joshua Buatsi and Sunny Edwards (pictured, boxing at Elite level) as past winners.
On the women’s side, Sandy Ryan, Terri Harper and Karriss Artingstall (pictured boxing at Elite level for England) have all cut their teeth by becoming a Junior champion before going on to make their names on the senior stage.
There will be plenty of action to take enjoy, with the final stages of this year’s competition seeing an expansion from two to three rings.
So whether you want to cheer on a boxer or club you have a connection with – or simply want to check out potential amateur stars of the future – then click here to order your tickets now.
Prices are £21 for adults, £11 for 65-plus, £6 for six to 15-years-old and free for five-year-olds and under, which includes a £1 facility fee.
