England squad named for EUBC European Schools Championships 2019

England Boxing can confirm its squad for the EUBC European Schools Championships 2019 in Tbilisi, Georgia between 4th August and 12th August.

The 20-strong squad will fly out on 31st July with the hope of winning medals in several weight classes.

Female Squad

Under 36kg – Sophie Harker (Middlesbrough, Tyne, Tees & Wear, pictured above).

Under 42kg – Jocelyn Kilkenny (East Middlesbrough, Tyne, Tees & Wear).

Under 46kg – Jessica Keeton (Scunthorpe BC, East Midlands).

Under 48kg – Alice Pumphrey (Sharpstyle, North West).

Under 54kg – Gracie Holland (Priory Park, West Midlands).

Under 60kg – Abby Briggs (Hunslet, Yorkshire).

Under 64kg – Paris Smith (Legions, Yorkshire).

Under 70kg – Amber Moss-Birch (Golden Ring, Southern Counties).

Male Squad

Under 38.5kg – Denaeo George (City of Leicester, East Midlands).

Under 40kg – Thomas Varey (Sharpstyle, North West).

Under 44.5kg – Frank Middleton (West Ham, London).

Under 48kg – Joe Cooper (Pinewood, Home Counties). Reserve – Aaron Bird (Olympian, Tyne, Tees & Wear).

Under 50kg – Ellis Panter (Burton Park, East Midlands, pictured below).

Under 52kg – Elijah Moore (Kent Gloves, Southern Counties).

Under 54kg – Sam Hardy (Newark, East Midlands).

Under 56kg – Emmanuel Buttigieg (Newham, London).

Under 59kg – Anthony Connors (West Ham, London).

Under 65kg – RJ Draper (Pinewood, Home Counties).

Under 68kg – Ethan Moore (Downend, Western Counties).

The England staff will be led by Team Managers Cliff Perkins (male) and Vicky Connors (female) and Lead Coach Mick Driscoll and also include Quinton Shillingford, Ivan Cobb, Malcolm Maciver and Chris Roberts.
