Western Counties Schools and Juniors Squad training at Barum ABC

The Western Counties Schools and Junior Squad have been training hard over the weekend at Barum ABC.

The Barnstaple club had 32 boxers enjoying a full day of sparring and a technique clinic, run by coaches Les Brooking, Darrel Asplen, Gareth Heard and Lee Allen.

Coach Les Brooking commented on the day saying ‘They all had a brilliant day and went away having gained valuable experience and a few new friends. A wonderful day.’

The Schools and Junior Championships will be held of the next few months with the Junior Championships beginning on the 3rd of March and the Schools beginning on the 29th of April.
