
International Women’ Day 2026: Women’s Aspire Programme

All ages welcome and open to non-pathway boxers.
England Boxing is excited to host a Women’s Aspire event in celebration of International Women’s Day, taking place on Sunday 8th March at the English Institute of Sport (EIS), Sheffield from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
This event is brought to you and delivered by the England Boxing Performance Pathway and our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer with a desire to bring Women boxers from across the country together to inspire women in boxing on this remarkable day.
What will be included:
- Sparring, Pad work and Shadow boxing – development opportunities with feedback.
- Workshop on women’s health – tips on how to support your performance in and outside the ring.
- Education on the Scoring Criteria – Knowing how to win. Networking – meeting fellow athletes and coaches.
Plus much, much more…
This initiative continues to support the development and empowerment of female boxers, helping them to grow both in and out of the ring.
Eligible criteria for Women’s Aspire Day:
• You must be registered on The Locker for the 2025/2026 season.
• Have an in date medical and your Red BCR1 digital card.
• No more than THREE boxers from the same club will be allowed to attend. This is to give all clubs equal accessibility.
• ONE coach per club may attend to support the day, you must hold an England Boxing purple digital lanyard (which must have an in-date DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding).
Closing date for applications is Sunday 22nd February 2026 at 5pm.
