First National Belt and Regional Belts are up for grabs

England Boxing’s first National Belt and Regional Belts box-off are taking place tonight and this weekend – after the competitions were re-launched last month.

Tonight sees the first match for the vacant 91+kg Southern Belt as Joel Kirkby from the Royal Navy takes on Jamie Tseliva of White Hart Lane at HMS Collingwood.

Then, on Saturday, six vacant National Belt bouts and one Northern Belt bout will take place at the Warrington Parr Hall, WA1 1BL as part of the Annual Phoenix Fire Festival of Boxing.

The event features a junior event in the afternoon followed by a full 14-bout Senior Show in the Evening. (see full bout list below).

Tickets are still available for the evening event at a price of £10 adults and £5 concession.

Those who do so can also watch the junior show free of charge in the afternoon, or alternatively to junior show-only entry is just £5.

All who attend are politely reminded to follow England Boxing’s new RESPECT campaign, which urges boxers, coaches, club support staff, parents, spectators and officials to show greater courtesy to each other at tournaments and shows.
