FBT is delighted to have been England Boxing’s official clothing partner in 2017.

During 2017, England boxers sponsored by FBT have been successful in securing medals at the Women’s Junior and Youth European Championships, European Schools Championships, European Junior and Youth Championships and the Youth Women’s World Championships. England has also excelled in each of its GB 3 Nations tournaments.

FBT Group Development Manager Helen Timms said: “The England team has been exceptional this year. Their performances on the world stage have been fantastic and the athletes are great ambassadors for the FBT brand.

“We’re looking forward to expanding our support in the coming year and announcing some exciting plans.”

FBT also sponsored the 2017 England Boxing Junior Championships and will be announcing its support of another major domestic championship in 2018.

A quarter of the profits of all merchandise in the online FBT England Boxing shop is returned to England Boxing for reinvestment in the sport and, as part of its commitment to grassroots boxing, FBT recently announced a discount scheme for clubs purchasing kit for their members.

Timms added: “As a company, FBT advocates reinvestment in grassroots sport, and recognises that NGBs are seeking ways to deal with reductions in funding.

“We hope that our partnership with England Boxing will continue to strengthen. We have some exciting opportunities lined up for both clubs and the England Boxing Talent Programme in 2018.”

England Boxing’s Head of Talent and Competitions David Thorley added: “It’s been fantastic working with FBT throughout the last year. Their support has been great and the kit makes the athletes look smart and professional.

“We had a strong year in terms of results and we are aiming for bigger and better things in 2018 and we are pleased to have FBT with us on that journey.”
