Child Welfare Officers Conference

On Saturday 16^th November England Boxing held its inaugural Child Welfare Officers Conference. It was held in conjunction with British Judo and held at their School of Excellence at Walsall University.

It was attended by over forty England Boxing members and over sixty people in total. It was designed to help and support Club Welfare officers and Team Managers. These roles provide invaluable and often under estimated work in maintaining the high standards of safeguarding in England Boxing. Gordon Valentine, England Boxing Safeguarding lead stated’ “I would like to thank all the attendees and speakers for their contributions which made this such a worthwhile event”.
