Celebrate boxing’s unsung heroes

Boxers, coaches and clubs are being encouraged to join in the #TheBigThankYou campaign taking place tomorrow (Sunday 15th December) during the Get Inspired Unsung Hero Award at BBC Sports Personality of the Year in Aberdeen.

The campaign is the largest celebration of volunteers in grassroots sports across the UK and offers you the chance to express your gratitude to all the wonderful people who make your sport and recreation happen.

So how can you get involved?

• Jump on social media on the night and share your stories, messages and pictures using the hashtag #BigThankYou
• The Unsung Hero Award is expected to finish at around 8.20pm, so this is the perfect time to make your voice heard

Organisers would love to get #BigThankYou trending for the fifth year running, giving hugely-valuable volunteers the spotlight they deserve. Don’t miss out on being part of the buzz this time round!
