Box Abroad Requirements for Upcoming International Events

Here at England Boxing, we are aware that many clubs will be travelling to compete in the Heart of the Dragon Box Cup in Wales, which is scheduled to commence on 17 July 2026.

Please ensure that your Boxing Abroad Request Form has been submitted via The Locker no less than 14 days before the departure date. For clubs intending to attend this tournament, the latest date for submission is Friday 3rd July 2026.

Unfortunately, we have seen an increase in requests being declined because clubs have missed this deadline. Once the 14-day notice period has passed, England Boxing may be unable to process or approve the request.

To help avoid delays, please ensure that:

• The trip request is submitted before the 14-day deadline.
• All travelling boxers, coaches and officials are entered onto the request.
• All boxer entries have been submitted by the event organiser and can be verified.
• Coach and official eligibility requirements have been met.
• Valid travel insurance documentation has been uploaded for all relevant travellers.
• Results from any previous Box Abroad trips have been submitted.
• Any additions or amendments are made as early as possible. Requests to add members from other clubs after the deadline may not be approved.

Please note that submitting a request on time does not automatically mean it can be approved. All required information and supporting documentation must be provided before permission can be granted.

The Membership Services team is currently processing a high volume of Box Abroad requests and will communicate directly with the club contact listed on the application.
