
Applications Welcome for the 2026/2025 Level Three Coaching Programme

England Boxing would like to encourage applications for the 2026/2027 England Boxing Level Three Coaching Programme.
The programme is designed for coaches who want to develop their ability to a higher level, irrespective of the group of athletes they work with.
Applications are encouraged from coaches working across participation, talent, schools, children, or adults.
This learning programme has been designed to provide a high-quality practical learning environment for coaches.
Upon successful completion, coaches will be able to design and implement long-term coaching programmes as well as evaluate the process and outcomes of them. They will also be able to support the learning, development, and performance of their boxers and the sport as a whole.
Application Criteria
This qualification is aimed at coaches who are committed to their personal development, have the desire to learn and are open to taking on new ideas and reflecting on their current coaching practices.
Applicants will need to meet the following requirements:
- Be 23 years of age or over.
- Hold an England Boxing Level 2 Full Coach award for a minimum of 5 years and provide two references from a regional coach and coach educator, before you can apply for an assessment for the England Boxing Level 3 Senior Coach course.
- Be affiliated with an England Boxing club.
- Show evidence of commitment to a high-performing coach environment for the previous five years.
- Hold an enhanced DBS (Valid for 3 years).
- Have a first aid qualification including AED training (Valid for 3 years).
- Hold an England Boxing Safeguarding qualification (Valid for 3 years).
- Be able to communicate effectively in English (Listening, speaking, reading and writing).

Shortlisting will be undertaken in October, and candidates will be notified of the outcome by 31st October 2025.
Assessments for candidates will take place in early January 2026, and we will be taking a maximum of 20 coaches onto this cohort, which will begin in April 2026. The cost of the course is £850.
