England Boxing will be increasing its event entry fee by £5 for the upcoming season, following an extensive review of the costs associated with delivering its national competitions programme. The new fees will apply to the National Championships, Women’s Winter Box Cup and where applicable, the Four Nations.

As the National Governing Body, we remain committed to providing safe, professionally organised tournaments that offer the best possible experience for boxers, coaches, officials and spectators. The additional income generated through the new entry fees will be reinvested directly into the delivery of our events, helping to maintain quality, meet increasing operational costs and support the long-term sustainability of our national competition programme.

To provide greater transparency, we have published a breakdown of the typical income and expenditure associated with staging our national events. We hope this gives members a clearer understanding of the costs involved and the reasons behind this decision.

We recognise that any increase in fees has an impact on our members and this decision has not been taken lightly. However, after careful consideration, we believe this modest adjustment represents the most appropriate way to safeguard the future of England Boxing’s national competitions while continuing to deliver the high-quality events that our members deserve. We are committed to ensuring our fees remain affordable in comparison to other sports and our sport in other parts of the UK.

The updated entry fees will come into effect for all applicable events from the start of the new competition season (2026-2027 onwards).

We thank all clubs, boxers, coaches and volunteers for their continued support and understanding. Their commitment remains at the heart of everything we do, and we look forward to welcoming competitors to another exciting season of England Boxing events.
