The England Boxing National Development Championships allow up-and-coming talent to showcase their skills.
Notable winners of the Development Championships include Tommy Fury, Galal Yafai, Georgia O’Connor, and Karriss Artingstall. Winners have also gone on to win the prestigious National Amateur Championships, proving that the Developments is a real springboard to success.
This category is open to male and female boxers of junior age (14, 15 or 16), youth age (16, 17 or 18) and senior age (18 to 40), in a wide range of weight categories ranging from Under 42kg to Over 92kg (males), and Under 42kg to Over 81kg (females).

Competition Dates:
- Pre-Quarterfinals: Sunday 4th October 2026.
- Quarterfinals: Sunday 11th October 2026.
- Semi-Finals (Hosted by England Boxing): Saturday 17th October 2026.
- Finals Day (Hosted by England Boxing): Sunday 18th October 2026.
Entry Dates:
- Regional Entries Open: Monday 3rd August 2026.
- Regional Entries Close: Monday 31st August 2026.
- Female entry details must be submitted by Sunday 20th September 2026.
- Regional Finals must be completed and submitted by Sunday 27th September 2026.
